hey it's been actual years since i've done a thing on here so hi!
my tumblr is now at yukkomai (linked in my info thing)

i haven't been doing much drawing but i might post cosplays! i have a few completed that i'm prouda and i have some coming up for fanime!

i've been pretty okay in general, i'm assistant manager where i work and i also have an internship at the community college i go to (i get to organize a conference for the LGBTQQIA community holla)

but yes hello is anyone i was friends with on here still doing a thing (I MURDERED THAT SENTENCE JESUS CHRIST)

Went to WonderCon about a month ago, as:
- Blue Beetle (II, Ted Kord, genderswapped/earth-11/rule 63) which turned out beautiful so I'll probably keep on wearing it to other conventions even if they have more of an anime focus
- Hysterical Dame, which turned out to be kind of uncomfortable, so I'll be making some adjustments! Otherwise, it's pretty okay, part of it needs to be resewn, but I ended up changing out of that and into....
- What I had brought of my Nepeta Leijon costume (which is still unfinished oops) for the MSPA meetup there, which was kind of impromptu, considering I was originally going to go in my HD costume, but oh well!

Next up is Fanime!
Cosplays:
- Blue Beetle
- Nepeta Leijon (regular outfit, minus hat)
- Nepeta Leijon (derse outfit)
- Pop Tart Cat/Nyan Cat gijinka
- Stocking
- Hysterical Dame? (only if my accompanying Problem Sleuth really really wants it to happen, since there'd be 6 costumes happening in 4 days)

And then hopefully I'll hit up Kintoki-con, Sac Anime, Alternative Press Expo, and maybe Yaoi-con?
Time and money are both factors, but trust me, I'd LOVE to go all over.
Kintoki I might just go on Saturday but hey I have time to figure this all out!


EDIT: ONLY GOING TO BE DOING THE NEPETA COSPLAYS, BLUE BEETLE, AND POSSIBLY HD.
Everything else needs waaaay more work than I have time for, and I might end up selling my Stocking wig, just because I really don't think I can take that on :C


However, I'm feeling really happy with my other costumes -
Blue Beetle has been finished

Nepeta (regular) just needs the horns, which Katie is working on, and I'm working on building a case for my iPod Touch so it looks like Nepeta's tablet, and that just needs gluing and painting!

I have tights and a big shirt (that might need a bit of dyeing to make more purpley) for the Derse pjs, so I just need to make the collar and screenprint the moon on to the shirt!

for HD, I need to find something to go under the corset, or I might revert to this other dress that looks very flapper-y, and is a bit more comfortable, but less canonical-looking I guess?
It'll work as something for the Black & White Ball, if anything.

drawing with a trackpad is so tedious dear god.

I suppose I should man up and buy a mouse for my laptop.
I feel like I have more control using a mouse than I do using a tablet but that might be because I've used one significantly more than the other. Also I have issues with, like, the texture that goes along with them BUT WHATEVER.
tl;dr, I'm a whippersnapper because I've used them like once or twice.

RIGHT. GONNA BUY A MOUSE THIS SUMMER.
